Responsibilities
- Write well-designed, testable and efficient code.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback.
- Work as part of a dynamic team to deliver winning products.
- Document code and produce technical documents.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Escalate technical issues to the relevant parties when needed and following up till the issues are closed.
- Ensure all standards and procedures are followed and maintained.
- Address queries and resolve issues relating to usage of standard applications and IT services.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- At least 1 year of experience, ideally in a Software Engineer role
- Proficiency in Oracle, Java, JavaScript and PL/SQL
- Highly goal-driven and thrives in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys finding creative solutions to problems
